Who is responsible
Vantage workshops are operated by Aperintelligence Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17250572). When this notice says “we”, “us” or “Vantage”, it refers to Aperintelligence Ltd.

The in person workshops themselves have a separate health, safety and code of conduct notice provided at the first session. This privacy notice covers the website and registration data.
What this website collects
When you register for a workshop, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if you choose to provide it), the session you selected, your age group (workshops are for adults aged 18+), and any background notes you share.
When you book a paid place, payment is taken by Stripe. Your card or wallet details go straight to Stripe; we never see or store them. We keep a record of the amount, the date, whether the payment succeeded and any refund.
With each booking we keep a record of what you booked: the cohort, its dates, times and venue, the price, what your place includes, the version of the terms you booked under and, for a paid place, when you asked for the workshop to go ahead as scheduled. At the workshop we record which days you attended, which decides your certificate and how the cancellation terms apply.
When you interact with the Lumen chat assistant, your messages are processed ephemerally on our server to generate an answer. No conversation logs are stored after your browser session closes.
This website sets no tracking cookies, runs no advertising pixels, and carries no third party tracking scripts.
What happens when you register
Registration is handled directly on this website. Your details go securely to our server. We do not use third party booking platforms. Confirmation and session update emails are sent through Resend, our transactional email provider.
Why we use your information
- To confirm and reserve your workshop place and send you venue, schedule and joining details (performance of a contract).
- For a paid place, to take your payment, handle any refund, and set up the AI tool account included with it (performance of a contract).
- To answer your enquiries and provide support by email (legitimate interests).
- To manage cohort capacity and ensure attendance balance (legitimate interests).
- To email the people on a cohort about it, such as a reminder before the first day or the invitation to their AI tool account (performance of a contract).
Who sees it
Resend, solely to deliver transactional confirmation emails; Vercel, which hosts this website; and Neon, which hosts the database that holds registrations, in London.
For a paid place, also Stripe, which processes your payment and keeps its own records for fraud prevention and its legal obligations; Klarna, if you choose to pay with Klarna; and Anthropic, to whom we give your name and email address to set up the AI tool account that comes with your place, for one month.
Nobody else outside Aperintelligence Ltd. We never sell your information and we never share it with advertising networks or data brokers.
How long we keep it
- Registration and contact records: retained for the duration of the programme plus two years for query resolution, then deleted.
- Statutory business records: seven years where required by UK HMRC regulations.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct or erase it, or to object to its processing. You can exercise any of these rights at any time without charge.

If you are unhappy
Please contact us first and we will do our best to resolve your concern. You also have the statutory right to raise a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
